Expert Advisors
"Expert Advisors" are automated trading programs that plug
into GFX’s Meta Trader Software. "Expert Advisors" allow
traders to automate their trading strategies. Once the
strategy is programmed, traders can either use it as a
prompt to initiate the trade or can set it to trade
automatically for them. Traders can write their own "Expert
Advisors", or use a professionally pre-written "Expert Advisor".
"Expert Advisors" work in the client terminal, not in the
server.
Write your own Expert Advisor
Use MQL4 language (MetaQuotes Language 4)
to design your own "Expert Advisor" with your custom trading
strategies. MQL4, a C++ looks-like programming language, can
be written using the MetaEditor provided with MetaTrader 4:
a complete IDE (Integrated Development Environment) including
a Strategy Tester to see how successful, risky or balanced
your "Expert Advisor" is before going live.
