Position Summary
The Position Summary window shows the trader's
overall position size and net position size in each instrument. For
example, the trader below has bought 7 lots of EUR/USD and sold 5 lots of EUR/USD
in a hedging transaction. The Position Summary window shows that the
trader has a total of 12 lots of EUR/USD open positions, and also shows that the
Net position is 2 lots long ("B"):
The trader is therefore able to quickly view his
net position and risk in each instrument.
Entire positions can also be closed at market from
the Position Summary window. Just right-click on the position, and select
"close":
All positions in that instrument will be closed at
the current market.
